Overview
An established and successful independent estate agency with three offices is seeking a proactive and organised Property Manager to join their team in Streatham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit, reputable business with a strong presence in the local market. The role will involve managing a portfolio of approximately 100 residential properties, ensuring a high level of service is delivered to both landlords and tenants.
The company is open to a range of candidate backgrounds. While some property management experience is preferred, applications are welcomed from individuals with broader property experience who are looking to move into a property management role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of circa 100 residential properties
• Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors
• Conduct property inspections and ensure properties are well maintained
• Handle tenancy renewals, rent reviews, and deposit returns
• Ensure compliance with all current lettings legislation and regulations
• Manage any issues or disputes in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems

Requirements

• Previous experience in property management is advantageous but not essential
• Background in the property sector (e.g. lettings, sales, administration) preferred
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
• Knowledge of lettings legislation is beneficial but can be developed
