With nearly six years of experience in recruitment across various sectors, I’ve found my true niche within white-collar construction — specialising in the commercial sector. From Assistant Quantity Surveyors to Commercial Directors and everything in between, I take pride in building relationships with leading construction businesses.
My journey into construction started at the age of 16 when I completed my Level 1 and Level 2 Diplomas before becoming a plasterer. Safe to say, after a few long days on-site, I quickly realised my body wasn’t exactly built for the hard labour (turns out, I’m much better with a phone than a trowel). However, my time on the tools gave me invaluable insight into the industry — something I now leverage to find the best commercial talent for our clients.
Making the shift into recruitment brought everything full circle for me. I’m passionate about helping businesses grow by placing the right people in the right roles and equally committed to helping professionals take the next step in their careers.

After studying Corporate Communications, I started out in PR at Africa’s only ski resort (yes, really), before moving into sales and then estate agency in London. Each role taught me something different, but one thing stayed constant: my passion for people and building connections.
That’s what pulled me into recruitment. Today, as Regional Director for Leeds with The Recruitment Experts, I’m focused on helping recruiters and agencies achieve more than they thought possible. You could say recruitment runs in the family—my grandmother started her own agency over 40 years ago—so maybe it was always meant to be.
