Job Title: Business Development Executive (Financial Services)
Location: Remote (UK Based)
Salary: ~£35,000 basic (OTE £50K-60K dependent upon experience)
We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying, and acquiring new clients through targeted outbound outreach, networking, and CRM management.
Utilising your impressive financial industry knowledge, you will also research market opportunities, conduct sales pitches and nurture relationships to meet monthly sales targets, whilst delivering a high-quality service at all times.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identifying new business opportunities via cold calling, emails and social media
- Client Relationship Management: Developing and nurturing relationships with potential and existing clients to build trust
- Sales Target Achievement: Meeting monthly or quarterly goals for qualified leads, demos, or sales closures
- Market Research: Identifying new markets, trends, and competitor activities to drive expansion
- Negotiation & Closing: Presenting financial products, negotiating contracts and finalizing deals
To succeed in the role you’ll be or have:
- Experience: Previous sales experience (minimum 1-3 years) in financial services or B2B sales
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial products, banking and/or fintech services
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for networking and delivering pitches
- Tools: Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce or industry-specific platforms
