Job Title: Commercial Account Executive
Location: London
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum
 
 
We are recruiting on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. This role will focus on developing strong client relationships, delivering tailored insurance solutions, and identifying opportunities to expand business within the portfolio.
 
The position is based in London and offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and client-focused insurance environment.
 
What you’ll be doing:

• Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across a range of industries
• Identify new business opportunities and generate revenue growth through networking and referrals
• Provide expert advice to clients on appropriate insurance products and risk management strategies
• Work closely with account handlers and insurers to deliver tailored insurance solutions
• Lead client meetings, renewals, and presentations to ensure continued client satisfaction
• Negotiate terms with insurers to achieve competitive coverage and pricing for clients
• Ensure all activities are conducted in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures

To succeed in the role you’ll be or have:

• Proven experience in a Commercial Account Executive or similar client-facing insurance role
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
• Demonstrated ability to win and retain business while managing client relationships
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively
• Professional qualifications such as CII or progress towards ACII desirable
