Job Title: Insurance Team Coordinator
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (Hybrid)
Salary: ~£30,000 basic
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Insurance Team Coordinator to join our client’s growing team.
You will be the central point of contact, ensuring the smooth daily operation of the insurance functions and providing vital administrative support to their network of brokers and clients.
What you’ll be doing:
Workflow Management: Coordinate and oversee daily tasks for the team, ensuring documents, data entry, and supplier portal activities are completed to a high standard
Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for clients, insurers, and brokers to resolve queries and keep insurance programmes running smoothly
Compliance & Data Integrity: Ensure all administrative tasks meet regulatory standards (such as FCA and Data Protection) and maintain accurate financial and insurance records
Renewals & Documentation: Track renewal schedules and manage the collection and distribution of essential policy documents
Performance Support: Assist the Team Leader with reporting, identifying process improvements, and supporting the development of junior colleagues
To succeed in the role you’ll be or have:
Experience: Proven experience in an administrative or coordinator role, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector
Technical Skills: Competence in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel) and experience using insurance-specific software or portals
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor your style to different audiences
Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and an analytical mindset for handling complex documentation
Organisational Skills: The ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt to changing priorities under pressure
