Job Title: Senior Compliance Manager
Location: London
Salary: £85,000 – £100,000 per annum
 

We are recruiting on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance across their insurance operations. This role will play a key part in ensuring the business meets its regulatory obligations while maintaining strong governance and risk management frameworks.
The position is based in London and offers the opportunity to work within a highly professional and evolving insurance environment.
 
What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee the development and implementation of the firm’s compliance framework in line with FCA requirements
• Provide expert guidance to senior management on regulatory developments and compliance risks
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure policies and procedures are updated accordingly
• Conduct compliance monitoring reviews and internal audits to ensure adherence to regulations
• Manage regulatory reporting and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies
• Support the development of a compliance culture across the business through training and guidance
• Investigate potential compliance breaches and ensure appropriate remedial action is take

To succeed in the role you’ll be or have:

• Significant experience in a compliance role within the insurance or financial services sector
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and UK regulatory frameworks
• Professional qualifications such as ICA Diploma, Compliance Certificate, or equivalent desirable
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
• High attention to detail and ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
