Job Title: Claims Executive
Location: London
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum
 
 
We are recruiting on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Claims Executive to manage insurance claims from notification through to settlement. This role will focus on delivering efficient claims handling while maintaining excellent client relationships.
 
The position offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of claims within a professional insurance environment.
 
What you’ll be doing:

• Manage claims from first notification through to settlement
• Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and clients throughout the claims process
• Investigate claims and assess coverage in line with policy terms
• Provide clients with clear guidance and updates on claim progress
• Negotiate settlements with insurers where appropriate
• Maintain accurate claims records and documentation
• Ensure claims handling is compliant with regulatory requirements

To succeed in the role you’ll be or have:

• Previous experience handling insurance claims
• Knowledge of commercial or specialty insurance claims processes
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
• CII qualifications or progress towards them desirable
