Job Title: Account Executive (Insurance)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to manage and grow a portfolio of our client’s Insurance-focused accounts. 

You will be the face of the business, responsible for identifying new opportunities, providing expert risk advice, and ensuring high retention rates through exceptional service.

What you’ll be doing:

• Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse book of business, acting as the primary point of contact for all client insurance needs
• Business Development: Proactively identify and convert new business leads through networking, referrals, and active prospecting
• Risk Advisory: Conduct thorough fact-finds and site visits to understand client risks, providing tailored insurance solutions and advice
• Negotiation: Work closely with the broking and underwriting teams to secure the best possible terms and coverage for your clients
• Renewals: Lead the renewal process, ensuring timely reviews and high levels of client loyalty

To succeed in the role you’ll be or have:

• Experience: Proven track record as an Account Executive or Senior Account Handler within an insurance brokerage
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of [Insert Specific Class, e.g., Property, Liability, or Fleet] insurance products
• Sales Acumen: A natural ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and close deals
• Qualifications: Dip CII or ACII is highly preferred; a commitment to professional development is essential
• Communication: Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex policy wording in simple terms
